Apple Software Engineer interview experience

The interviewer was friendly and didn’t rush me toward fully writing code; instead, they wanted to hear how I’d approach solving it and what steps I’d take to reason it out. I didn’t end up coding my way through the full solution, but the focus on explaining my approach made it feel like a real test of thinking, not just implementation.
