Appinventiv Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

Hard

Negative

IndiaPosted Jan 2022 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

The interview lasted about an hour and started with technical questions immediately—no setup or introduction, just a rapid series of problems at what felt like a very high difficulty level.

The questions were framed like they wanted depth comparable to large-scale companies, and the challenge level was the main thing that defined the day.

What also weighed on me was that the salary they mentioned was very low compared to the intensity and the difficulty level of the questions. That mismatch made the entire experience feel oddly transactional: technically demanding, but not reflective of compensation.

I didn’t get an offer, and my honest takeaway was that the process felt tuned for very specific, hard-core technical performance without enough balance for the overall candidate
