Appfolio Software Engineer interview experience

One was whiteboarding and the other was a coding interview on a computer. I felt like I handled the work confidently, though I also sensed the first interviewer was looking for a particular way of expressing a solution, like how I structured looping logic.

After that, the process stalled. The recruiter didn’t get back to me for more than a week, and when I followed up I learned they moved forward with other candidates. Even though I felt good about the interviews, the timing and lack of updates left the whole experience feeling a bit abrupt.
