I didn’t even start with a formal application.

I met appfolio at a networking event, had a couple of phone conversations with an HR recruiter afterward, and then they set up an interview. From there, the process felt easy overall, and it moved pretty quickly from hiring interviews to the close.

The atmosphere of everything I experienced was low-pressure and approachable, and it didn’t feel like they were trying to overcomplicate the process. I ended up with an offer, and what I took away afterward was how much the initial relationship-building mattered—because once the conversations started, the rest of the steps followed smoothly.
