Sterling, VAPosted Jul 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through an interview plus a training-gated evaluation, with coding and a small project as the main technical signals.

Round 1: Coding — LeetCode-style easy/medium questions.
Round 2: Coding + technical interview — A combined session where I worked through coding and answered additional technical questions.
Round 3: Post-training small project — After about 8 weeks of training, I completed a small project within a fixed 2-hour window; most technical specs were covered during training. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; the takeaway is that final performance was heavily tied to the training-driven project work.
