I hit a more frustrating and sometimes unclear process for the Software Engineer role: technical screens mixed with framework/web fundamentals and SQL/OOP, but communication and pacing issues made it feel worse than the difficulty alone.

HR / scheduling call — Explained the training and interview flow, then set up the technical portion.
Technical interview (web + JS/React + SQL + JS semantics) — Questions like useEffect, HTML/CSS selectors, closures and callbacks in JavaScript, and practical CSS/HTML knowledge.
Coding task — A short implementation exercise such as counting occurrences in an array and returning an object.
Remote engagement issues — In one case the interviewer camera stayed off and I felt rushed to “just write the code.”
Administrative follow-through problems — One candidate path
