Sterling, VAPosted Jul 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I experienced a quick, training-oriented hiring flow with an initial screening, then coding/technical evaluation before a multi-week program.

Recruiter/HR screen — A phone conversation about my background and the role; the process was described as fast-paced.
Technical interview — Continued qualification through a second video/Zoom-style interview.
Training + evaluation — After passing, there was a training period; at the end I faced a test and, in a separate experience, the evaluation included questions about the training content and clearer explanation of concepts. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer; the takeaway is that clarity of concepts and training mastery mattered more than deep algorithm depth.
