I experienced a consistently efficient two-round flow: an HR screen first, then a technical screen that combined quick coding with fundamentals.

HR phone screen — Conversation about experience/resume, with the process moving quickly.
Technical screen (video/Skype) — A mix of “tell me about yourself” prompts and a coding question (often string manipulation or similar basics).
Optional coding test step (in one path) — In another run, after the initial phone screen, they scheduled a coding test before the technical interview. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer; the takeaway is that the process was streamlined and rewarded basic fundamentals and clarity.
