Anthology Software Engineer interview experience

The interviewer seemed to expect textbook-style answers and reacted sharply when my responses didn’t match that exact wording. When I answered the question properly, the feedback still didn’t land well—the conversation would pivot back to the textbook definition and I’d get told I was wrong.

Even though the questions themselves were basic, the interpersonal vibe made it feel difficult. By the time it ended, I didn’t feel like I got a fair chance to explain my understanding. No offer followed.
