Costa Mesa, CAPosted May 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My first interview was with HR, and that conversation was genuinely pleasant and professional.

After that, I moved to a Quality Engineer interview, and that round didn’t go well at all.

The second interviewer felt disengaged and treated it more like an interrogation than a conversation. I remember the impression of someone not putting in effort to connect or even understand what I was saying. On top of that, the interviewer came across as rude and unprofessional.

Even though HR had been great, the Quality Engineer round left me with a strong negative overall feeling about the process. I didn’t end up with an offer, and that interpersonal mismatch was hard to shake.
