The first recruiter conversations led into coding and interview steps, but the schedule never moved like I expected.

In my case, the process stretched out over months with delays, and I ended up dealing with long gaps where there was simply no communication. I did a couple of HR chats before I was finally able to complete a technical test, and by the time I got there, the overall timeline had become painfully drawn out.

I also experienced the same kind of silence after outreach—messages would go unanswered even when the recruiter had originally contacted me. It made the process feel less like a clean selection funnel and more like waiting on momentum to return, which made everything harder to stay focused
