The recruiter got the ball rolling and then I joined an interview over Zoom.

It was split into distinct parts, and the flow was very deliberate: first there was an informal chat about what I had done before and the kind of work I’d been involved in. After that, I was asked to prepare a presentation ahead of time, so the round shifted from conversation to me walking through the prepared material.

The last segment was a guided coding session focused on Terraform. Compared to the discussion-heavy parts, that section felt more hands-on and concrete, and it pushed me to think through infrastructure decisions while explaining my reasoning as I went.
