I started with a general get-to-know-you call that mainly focused on learning about the role and discussing my experience.

Since it was for a sales position, the conversation naturally expected me to talk about sales methodology. The call lasted about an hour, and after that we scheduled further discussions.

I didn’t end up getting an offer, but the process itself felt fairly straightforward and easy to follow in terms of next steps—nothing felt confusing or overly formal. Overall, I walked away understanding the role a lot better and what kind of sales background they wanted to see.
