Chicago, ILPosted Oct 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for the Business Analyst role in an all-behavioral style loop, but it ended up feeling easy while the firm’s understanding of my field was disappointing.

Round 1 (two-person behavioral interview) — An analyst and a senior analyst talked with me about my background and asked standard behavioral questions.
Round 2 (final stage behavior/fit) — The flow remained focused on explaining my research, and the senior interviewer’s questions suggested they didn’t understand the quantitative nature of my area. Outcome: No offer; I walked away feeling less confident in the firm’s domain knowledge.
