Boston, MAPosted Mar 2020 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through a notably intense interview sequence where my resume details and research ability were repeatedly stress-tested across many conversations.

On-campus round — behavioral with a heavy emphasis on research.
Second round in the DC office — several interviews across levels (about seven), including moments where interviewers presented data exhibits and asked questions about them.
Resume deep dive — multiple interviewers drilled into my resume line-by-line, including areas I hadn’t expected to matter. Outcome: I didn’t report an offer; the takeaway is that for the hardest track, you must know your resume and research contributions extremely well.
