I hit a more difficult, unexpectedly technical version of the Business Analyst interview, with a short initial call followed by a longer on-site/Super Day.

Phone screen — a brief call with analysts reviewing my background in economics/research and my interest in the firm.
On-site / super day — multiple interviews across employees where I was asked a mix of behavioral fit and more technical economics/econometrics questions than I expected.
Overall feel — the experience came across as somewhat check-the-box, and the higher-than-expected technical depth made it feel harder. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; the takeaway was to expect econometrics/statistics depth even when the early conversation sounds more like general fit.
