Analog Devices Software Engineer interview experience

The interviewer expected me to know some background, including concepts tied to silicon wafers and the general flow from fab through wafer sort, assembly, and final test.

The questions weren’t overly complex, but they clearly wanted context—how the manufacturing chain fits together and where the basic steps sit. That tone made it feel like a fundamentals-and-domain round rather than a deep coding or architecture screen.
