The interview process felt unusually long and repetitive.

I had around a 4.5-hour interview with six different people, and every person asked me the same questions. It was strange because the intention seemed to be to understand me more, but it never turned into a more natural, varied conversation.

The harder part wasn’t the technical content as much as the confusion about process and ownership. Managers couldn’t clearly explain how their development process worked, and at least one developer didn’t really address my questions directly—then repeated the same questions back. The overall experience felt like the structure mattered more than the depth
