I went through an early recruiter-led phone screen that felt structured and professional over about a week.

Recruiter screen (30 minutes) — I talked with a recruiter who confirmed my application, gave an overview of the role, answered my questions, and then asked me two role-relevant questions before letting me ask anything I wanted.
Q&A closure — The recruiter clearly described what would happen next in the process and was detailed about both my questions and the timeline. Outcome: I didn’t move forward, but the screen was reassuring in how organized and helpful the recruiter was.
