I interviewed in a straightforward three-round flow where they anchored on why the company and the role, then tested basic SQL and plain-language explanations before senior leadership.

HR screening — I answered why American Express and why the role change.
Manager round (technical + experience) — I did simple SQL work and explained my projects in layman terms.
Director round — I met the director-level interviewer. Outcome: One path ended without an offer, but another resulted in an offer; takeaway: explaining your work clearly and handling basic SQL can make a difference.
