American Express Software Engineer interview experience

The interview itself felt decent, but I kept getting the sense that the interviewer was a bit adamant about their own approach. I tried to follow the conversation, but the dynamic was frustrating enough that it affected how comfortable I felt during the discussion.

I didn’t get selected afterward. I was disappointed, but I still told myself it counted as experience and that there was something to learn from how the interaction played out.
