I had a 30-minute round with a team lead where the conversation mixed role fit with a coding question and Java technical follow-ups.

We talked about the job description and how to approach the coding problem, then they asked Java-based questions afterward.

The topics stayed around threading, race conditions, and exception handling, including how to handle exceptions cleanly. It felt like they were verifying that I genuinely understood Java concurrency concepts rather than just hearing the terms.

Overall it felt focused and fairly technical. I didn’t get an offer, but the interview style was clear: it was centered around Java fundamentals, concurrency, and how I reason about edge cases in exception handling.
