I started with the online assessment and then moved into a set of technical interviews that felt unusually heavy on algorithm problem-solving.

The recruiter communication was there, but the actual rounds were the stressful part: they zeroed in a lot on Amazon Leadership Principles, and the technical portion leaned strongly into DSA.

In the coding-heavy stretch, I was given multiple DSA problems to solve. I remember getting only partway through—there were about five questions in total, and I could solve roughly two while the remaining ones didn’t land for me. When they asked about approach, it wasn’t just “solve it”; they wanted the way I thought about the solution and how I planned to execute.

Overall, it felt too tough and drawn
