I started with an online SQL and Excel assessment that took about 45 minutes, focused on things like pivot tables, vlookup, and joins.

After that, I moved straight into a roughly hour-long behavioral interview centered on Amazon Leadership Principles, where I had to talk through my past experiences and connect them back to the way the company evaluates leadership.

I remember feeling that the whole interview was pretty manageable as long as I treated the leadership principles like the main event, not an afterthought.
