What stood out to me was how central Amazon’s leadership principles were throughout.

After earlier stages, my interviews leaned heavily into STAR-based answers, where I had to connect specific moments from my experience to particular principles and explain what I did, why I made certain choices, and what the result was.

I ended up in a loop-style format where multiple interviewers asked leadership questions and then followed up to drill into my individual contributions. The atmosphere was more like a steady sequence of deep dives than quick broad chats, and I could feel that the bar was being judged across different principle angles rather than repeating the same topic.
