I started with a round that asked for two DSA problems, each with about 30 minutes to solve.

One of the problems was about serializing and deserializing a binary tree, and they followed up by asking about the time and space complexity. I managed both concepts in the first round and moved forward, but things didn’t work out after that.

The experience stayed grounded in fundamentals: they wanted me to not only implement but also explain efficiency clearly. When I failed to progress further, it felt like I’d missed the point somewhere in the second step of the process.
