Seattle, WAPosted Mar 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through what was described as a generic Amazon SDE1 interview with three rounds.

All three rounds mixed DSA and behavioral questions.

On the technical side, the DSA topics included things like viewing a BST through a specific lens, a House Robber 2 style problem, and system design focused on OOPs. The behavioral questions were more general rather than narrowly themed.

It was difficult overall, and I didn’t receive an offer. Looking back, the challenge was the combination itself—technical problem solving and behavioral framing were interwoven in every round, so I never got a clean separation between coding and storytelling.
