My recruiter-to-loop path started with a recruiter screen, then moved into a technical screening.

The technical screen itself felt measured: it had a short intro, then a chunk of behavioral questions, followed by a coding segment and finally a wrap-up of questions where I could ask them about Amazon.

After that, I entered a much longer final loop. I had multiple one-hour interviews with different people, and the pattern was a mix of live coding plus behavioral questions. In the coding rounds, I solved data structures and algorithms problems in a shared coding environment while explaining my approach out loud, and the behavioral parts were framed around Amazon’s leadership principles
