Seattle, WAPosted Jul 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I applied online for an SMB-focused AWS account executive role.

The assessment went well, and after that I went into two interviews and then an interview loop. The whole process took about four weeks end to end, and it felt pretty structured compared to what I’ve experienced elsewhere.

Throughout the process, the emphasis was on telling my story clearly and mapping it to Amazon’s Leadership Principles, and the pace meant I had to keep my examples consistent rather than swapping in new versions. I didn’t end up getting an offer, but the experience felt like a formal, deliberate evaluation of fit rather than a casual screening.
