The questions themselves were straightforward enough that I didn’t feel completely lost, and the whole exchange stayed grounded.

The issue wasn’t whether I could answer—it was the offer I eventually saw. It came in too low for my expectations, and I ended up declining rather than continuing.

Even though I didn’t push for a renegotiated outcome, I left with the sense that the interview performance matched what they were looking for. The decision just wasn’t aligned with what I needed, so the final result was essentially a mismatch rather than a failure to impress.
