Amazon Software Engineer interview experience

Each interview ran about 50 minutes.

In the first round, the questions were mainly about domain-specific knowledge. The second round shifted into system design, and then the third round went into C coding.

The overall difficulty was average and I didn’t receive an offer. What I remember most is how clearly the rounds separated responsibilities—domain, design, then a specific coding language—so it felt less like random assortment and more like targeted evaluation.
