Redmond, WAPosted Aug 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My process started with a recruiter and then moved into a long, multi-person loop.

After the recruiter screen, I had a call with an engineering director, followed by additional conversations with a senior product owner and a senior software engineer. Each of those rounds felt focused on fit and how I think through problems, not just on “gotchas.”

What really stood out was the sequence of people I spoke with: I then went through a pairing stage with two bar raisers, and after that I finished with the hiring manager. The coding difficulty wasn’t broken down in detail for every person, but overall the journey felt difficult, and I didn’t make it to an offer.
