My assessment was practical and a bit different from standard LeetCode.

I received a pair of programming questions where the difficulty ramped up: the first one was fairly trivial math, and the second one was more interactive and open-ended about what they wanted.

On the second problem, I had to figure out the intent—how to interpret the requirements they were aiming for—then implement several functions to make the solution work. It felt like they wanted me to communicate and iterate, not just produce a single correct algorithm.

Overall, it was challenging in a “build the right thing” way rather than purely in algorithm depth, and I wasn’t extended an offer.
