Amazon Software Engineer interview experience

The recruiter had told me they’d be setting up the next step, and then it never happened.

The difficulty level was described as very difficult, but the bigger issue wasn’t the technical bar—it was the lack of professional follow-through. I didn’t make it to any meaningful later stage because the process didn’t actually continue.

I wasn’t selected. Honestly, it felt disrespectful and demotivating, especially because I’d spent time preparing for the scheduled phone interview that never materialized.
