Amazon Software Engineer interview experience

I went through assessment and then multiple later stages, and by the time it reached the final onsite setup, it felt like I was competing against other interviewers’ question sets.

At that onsite stage, I had the sense that some people got standard LeetCode, while others received harder, less familiar variants. It gave the process a lottery-like feeling: even with solid performance, the phrasing and difficulty level could swing the experience. I didn’t receive an offer. What I remember most was leaving with the impression that there wasn’t a single, uniform difficulty bar for everyone.
