After a recruiter screen, the rest of my loop took close to a month to play out, which honestly felt longer than I expected.

Once I got through the initial phone conversation, I had two technical rounds that were firmly centered on data structures and algorithms. One of the questions was about merging overlapping intervals, and the other focused on finding the minimum number of meeting rooms.

The final step was a system design interview. I was asked to design a scalable metrics monitoring system, and what helped was that I’d recently worked through a very similar architecture breakdown during prep.
