Amazon Software Engineer interview experience

After the initial screening, I ended up with a leadership-principles style interview and then two coding rounds. The coding portions were LeetCode-like, and I had multiple follow-up questions where I had to justify choices and talk through how I was thinking.

The leadership-focused round also followed a predictable pattern: it leaned heavily on structured behavioral responses, and it felt like they were checking whether my stories mapped directly to how the company assesses impact.
