Amazon Software Engineer interview experience

First was a recruiter screen, then a one-hour technical screening, and finally a final loop round made up of five interviews.

In the technical screening, the format was tightly scheduled: they started with a short intro, then spent time on behavioral questions, followed by a dedicated coding segment. After the coding, they ended with a brief question period where I could ask questions back.

I didn’t get an offer. What I remember most was how much the process relied on staying organized across timed segments—behavioral, coding, then Q&A—before even reaching the longer final loop.
