Santa Clara, CAPosted Mar 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

The interview started with a LeetCode coding question and then moved into a higher-level system design prompt.

Throughout the behavioral questions, they looked for Amazon-style principles, and I kept answers structured using the STAR method. There were also a couple of more low-level topics that felt realistic, like discussing thread locking.

The whole process was team-based, and I remember feeling like the team involved in hiring would pick up the conversation from different angles. I ended up getting an offer. What I took away was that they wanted breadth—coding plus design plus operational details—rather than focusing on only one skill area.
