The loop was long—around four or five rounds.

The engineers I spoke with felt like a mix: some were friendly, while others weren’t. What made it tough was that they sometimes asked the same kind of question but seemed to expect different answers depending on who you were talking to.

I did the technical portions and tried to keep my answers consistent, but the variance across interviewers kept the experience stressful. Difficulty was difficult overall, and I didn’t receive an offer. My takeaway was that even when the questions are predictable, the evaluation can feel less predictable if the expectations shift between interviewers.
