Amazon Lab126 QA Engineer interview experience

The process began with a basic phone screen where the conversation largely followed my resume, and then I moved into a one-on-one face interview.

In the in-person round, the focus was on my projects and how I’d worked on them, but it also turned toward some practical technical topics. I got questions tied to sorting concepts and even specifics around makefiles and how they’re used, which surprised me a bit because it didn’t feel purely like QA conversation. Overall it landed as a fairly average-difficulty loop, and I didn’t end up receiving an offer.
