I had a short, low-pressure HR interaction in one case, but in another the process felt so brief it barely resembled a real interview.

HR interview (easy) — A quiet conversation about background, why I wanted to change jobs, and discussion of the role and hybrid/transport topics.
Very short HR screen — In a separate experience, I had only basic HR questions and then received a quick rejection. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer; the takeaway was that HR steps were either very conversational or extremely minimal depending on the track.
