ALTEN Belgium Software Engineer interview experience

MilanPosted May 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

Over the years, I went through three interviews with Alten, and the first one had gone very well—they even made an offer.

But in the last two years, I got contacted twice by HR in a discouraging pattern.

Each time, I was asked to confirm my availability for an opportunity, including being asked what my desired RAL was. I gave a reasonable expectation for a senior role—about 5K above my current salary. Then there was absolute silence after that. This happened twice with two different recruiters.

The lack of any feedback, even something negative, made me feel like my time wasn’t respected. It left me genuinely disappointed and unwilling to try again.
