I went into a presentation-style interview where I was pulled into a personal talk about my past experience.

They asked me several questions about what I’d done before, and then they introduced some case-style prompts.

A key part of the meeting was also a presentation about the commercial department’s goals in Madrid. It changed the dynamic from pure Q&A into a mix of their expectations plus me explaining how my experience connected.

The overall experience was centered on how I think and how I’d operate in that department, but I didn’t end up getting an offer. What I took away was that they wanted both context on my background and clarity on how the team was aiming to perform.
