Algoworks Software Engineer interview experience

I started with a written basic aptitude section with 20 questions, then moved into a puzzle round, and then a technical round followed after.

Even though it was compressed into one day, the structure still felt like they were testing different dimensions of my thinking: reasoning first, then puzzles, then technical understanding. The pace was quick, so I had to keep my attention sharp the whole time.

I didn’t receive an offer. My reflection was that the one-day setup created a momentum effect—once the day got moving, it left little room to recover if a specific section didn’t go well.
