The biggest moment in the interview for me was the very classic prompt: tell me a little about yourself.

It sounded simple, but I realized how easy it would be to overdo it or give too much irrelevant history. I was even asked to share something like a full background, and I actually declined after realizing that approach wouldn’t serve me well.

The way the question landed in my mind was that it needed a focused pitch—highlighting only the most relevant accomplishments or experiences and connecting them back to why I fit the role. I felt like the interview was leaning on how I framed my story more than any deep technical detail. I did receive an offer.
