Alcon Software Engineer interview experience

Roughly two weeks later, they emailed to schedule a phone interview. After that conversation, just a couple days went by and the head of quality assurance called me to say I got the intern role.

The whole experience felt straightforward and relatively low drama: clear timing, a single phone interview, and then a quick follow-up once they decided to move forward. I didn’t go through a long chain of stages, and there wasn’t much ambiguity—my background matched what they wanted, and the decision came fast.
