Atlanta, GAPosted Apr 2010 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a Software Engineer role with an average overall difficulty and a format that leaned more toward fit and reasoning than deep technical minutiae, with delays sometimes driven by timing.

Hiring manager / competency discussion — I talked directly with the hiring manager about my qualifications and how well I matched the role.
Situational discussion (presales / project management) — I also covered scenario-based questions around how I’d handle presales and manage projects.
Additional phone screens (light technical) — In other stages of the process, I experienced multiple phone interviews that felt less about trivia and more about my approach.
In-person / personality focus — The later part included personality interviews and additional in-person steps.
