Alcatel-Lucent Motive Network Engineer interview experience

I experienced a campus-to-hiring-manager style process that was more conversational and forward-looking, spanning about a few weeks with basic technical checks.

Campus interview (role/company + routing protocol whiteboard) — I introduced myself and the company/role, then answered on a whiteboard about a routing protocol I was comfortable with.
Wait then phone screen — after being shortlisted via email, I had a phone interview that came unexpectedly while I was in the middle of personal plans.
Outcome: No offer; delays aside, the technical bar felt moderate and tied to my familiarity with networking fundamentals.
