AkunaCapital Software Engineer interview experience

I was asked about time-series prediction, and then also about database design and ways to improve it, including how to design a database structure.

There was also a basic statistics component mixed into the conversation. It felt less like a pure coding interview and more like a breadth test across data, modeling, and fundamentals.

I didn’t get an offer. My reflection was that the role’s interview questions leaned more interdisciplinary than I expected.
